SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The NBA Finals opened as such a juicy matchup of A-list stars.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh for the defending champion Miami Heat against Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili for the old guard San Antonio Spurs making one last run at one more championship.

Big 3 vs. Big 3. Winner take all.

Once the series actually started, a group of D-listers crashed the party.

“When I went to college at Pitt I was moved from linebacker to the defensive line,” said Gilbert. “I should have stayed at linebacker. That’s the position that I loved to play.”

MIAMI (AP) — The NBA Finals. Just being here can be memorable — and miserable.

And surprise, it's those supposedly stoic Spurs who are having more fun, while the South Beach bunch is a little grumpy and grouchy.

Heat blow out Spurs 103-84 in Game 2 to tie NBA Finals

Back with a blowout, and no, the Miami Heat didn't need LeBron James to do more. Not when Mario Chalmers and everyone else did everything right. Chalmers led the charge and James broke out to finish it with a flurry as the Heat used a 33-5 run to blow away the San Antonio Spurs in a 103-84 victory Sunday night that evened the NBA Finals at one game apiece.
