BOSTON (AP) — A man found dead in an industrial park about a mile from New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez's home had been killed, a prosecutor said Wednesday.
The state medical examiner identified the man as 27-year-old Odin Lloyd and ruled he was a homicide victim, Bristol District Attorney Samuel Sutter's office said. Lloyd's family said he was a semi-pro football player with a connection to Hernandez, whose home was searched by police.
Lloyd's mother, Ursula Ward, had said earlier police had told her the body was that of her son, who played for the Boston Bandits.

Anyway, I am starting to get the same feeling LeBron James is getting. Yep. It's over! That said, I will stay the course and stick with Tim Duncan and One Leg Tony Parker and trust that the Spurs will prove me to be the sports information genius you all know me to be. "Spurs in Seven." It's officially one and done for Pittsburgh center Steven Adams. Adams started 32 games for Pitt and averaged 7.1 and 6.3 rebounds per game. The 19-year-old led the Panthers with 65 blocks and made 57 percent of his shots while being named to the Big East All-Rookie Team. Considered a project when he signed, Adams improved as the season went on. He had 13 points and 11 rebounds in Pitt's 73-55 loss to Wichita State in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Adams said after the defeat he planned to come back but had a change of heart

As of Monday morning the Pittsburgh Pirates had a six game lead on the San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres as far as a claiming a potential wild card spot in the MLB National League race toward the post season.
The only thing that worries me, I mean really really, worries me is the Bucs’ lack of consistency on offense. I am really concerned that once the offense catches up to the pitching there might be a slew of arms that might be too worn out to be effective even if Pittsburgh advances.
