WASHINGTON (AP)—The U.S. needs major changes to its financial system so consumers are better protected, banks fortified and the economy safeguarded from sliding into another Depression, President Barack Obama said Saturday.

In his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama told Congress to act quickly and pass “common sense rules that will our allow markets to function fairly and freely while reining in the worst practices of the financial industry.”

(AP)—In this banking center walloped by the Great Recession, where unemployment just hit a 20-year high and as many as one in three Black people are out of work, Blacks could easily be frustrated with President Barack Obama’s insistence that a rising economic tide for all will lift African-American boats.

Yet despite surging discontent among some Black advocates over Obama’s refusal to specifically target rising Black unemployment, it’s hard to find average Black folks here who disagree with the president’s approach.

That is Napoleon Hill’s definition of success. It may work for you, but just because he is a best-selling author does not guarantee that it will. Each individual must create his/her own definition of success in order to be successful. I believe there are four components to defining success from an individual perspective:
