Prayer vigil and march

SEPT. 15—The Intercessory Prayer Ministry of Deliverance Baptist Church, 812 Swissvale Ave., Wilkinsburg, will host a Prayer Vigil and March. The event will run through Sept. 17 and will focus on stopping the violence in the community. For more information, call 412-371-7223.

Winning souls

SEPT. 16—Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Rd., North Versailles, will host Preaching to Win the Lost at 7 p.m. Their series will be held every Friday and will feature various guest preachers. Tonight’s preacher will be Rev. Dr. William Curtis of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. On Sept. 23 Rev. Earlene Coleman of Bethlehem Baptist Church will bring the Word, followed by Rev. Church anniversary

SEPT. 18—St. John the Evangelist Baptist Church, 4537 Chatsworth Ave., Hazelwood, will host its 102nd Church Anniversary at 11 a.m. The theme is “Walk in the Spirit in Unity.” The guest speaker will be Rev. Reunion Dinner

SEPT. 24—The former Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Duquesne, will host a Fellowship Reunion Dinner at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, 401 W. Waterfront Dr., West Homestead.
