Pentecostal Temple Church of God In Christ in East Liberty held its annual “I Got Your Back” Back to School Celebration Aug. 29, at the church. It was sponsored by the Education Department, along with the Outreach Evangelism Department. The key partners of this event are WGBN-AM 1150 and The Pittsburgh Zone Cultural Impact Council. This celebration included providing each child with various school supplies for the new school year, along with the book bags, fellowship, fun, entertainment, free hair cuts and special giveaways and a clothes giveaway. This is a community outreach and free to the general public, as an outreach ministry to meet the needs of the people.
