‘Shades of Purple’ annual scholarship tea

WINNERS—The scholarship winners are left Joie Lynn James and right Gerigia Ford grandmother of the scholarship winner Chevell White who could not be there.

MODELS—The group Shades of Purple held their annual scholarship tea at the Bradley House in Baldwin, Pa. Sept. 12. The two scholarships recipients were Joie Lynn James, who is attending Slippery Rock College where she will study communications and creative writing and Chevell White, who is attending Youngstown State where she is studying forensic science. The event featured a fashion show and a luncheon. The models of the day were, from left: Donna Sounders, Karen Hines, Corey Water, Katherine Water, Kim Lester, Ashley Kelley, Miss Carmela, Gloria Ruffing, Renee Watts, and Cinamon Price.
