From the Hills of Pittsburgh to the Mountains of Haiti

A special fundraising event was held to benefit FLM of Haiti. “A Gift of Hope: From the Hills of Pittsburgh to the Mountains of Haiti,” will help FLM of Haiti. The event was held at the home of Donald Kortlandt and Anna P. Singer in Mt. Washington.

Activities included talented musical artists, local and ethnic food, an art auction, and presentations about Haiti.

Musical guests included: Kathy Bynum, gospel vocalist; Caribbean Vibes Steel Band, Amitabha B. Chakrabarti, opera vocalist; Joy Ike, A neo-soul vocalist; Etta Cox, jazz vocalist; Anita Bynum, contemporary gospel vocalist; and Anna P. Singer, singer/WQED FM music programmer and mid-day host.
