Thanksgiving Dinner for Seniors
NOV. 24—Champion Enterprises will host its Annual Champion Celebrates Seniors Thanksgiving Dinner from 12-4 p.m. at Gable Ridge Apartments, 8000 Beacon Hill Dr., Wilkinsburg. DEC. 7—The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh will host its Ronald H. Brown Leadership Awards Gala at 5:30 p.m. at the Westin Convention Center Hotel, 1000 Penn Ave., Downtown. The gala will feature a silent auction and reception, dinner, award presentations, a dessert reception, dancing and more. The honorees for the evening will be Doris Carson Williams and Dr. Jared Cohon for the Corporate Leadership Awards, and Tim Stevens for the Lifetime Achievement Award. Parents’ Night Out
DEC. 8—The Carnegie Science Center will host Parents’ Night Out from 5-10 p.m. at the Carnegie Science Center, 1 Allegheny Ave., North Shore. This is a safe and entertaining location where kids can spend the evening. This is for kids ages 6-12 and will include an evening of scientific fun, pizza, an omnimax movie, science workshops and more.
