FashionAFRICANA and The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents Glamazonia at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This is a photography exhibition paying tribute to African beauty and hairstyles by Paris-based photographer Mario Epanya. He celebrates African ancestry and customs by highlighting his interpretation of the aesthetics and shapes used by African ancestors for ceremonial and special occasion dress. The exhibition showcases more than 30 images of Black women from contemporary full color to vintage black and white. It also features sculptures by Vanessa Germany and garments by FashionAFRICANA. Saturday Jazz Jam
