This week I visited the Pittsburgh Marathon, presented by Operation Better Block Inc., at the Homewood Station, the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, Ava Lounge in East Liberty and Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District.| DJ Selecta and DJ Diamond D did it up really big at the Ava Lounge in East Liberty.
|
My first stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, where Godfreys II held a cabaret featuring R&B legends Midnight Star. Line dance king Roland Ford was on the dance floor gettin’ the crowd hyped up with his dance routines.
| Jacque Mae and friends were dancing the night away at the Ava Lounge in East Liberty.
|
My next stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, where Tawanda “Tim” Harper celebrated her birthday with family and friends.
My next stop was at the Ava Lounge in East Liberty, where DJ Diamond D was on the 1’s and 2’s spinning all of the classic hits for the sold out crowd.
My final destination was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, where everyone came out to the watch the fight between Mayweather and Cotto. It was a great fight and everyone had a good time.
