Coston pays tribute to Whitney Houston

In memory of the Queen of Pop, Coston Funeral Home, located at 427 Lincoln Ave. in East Liberty, will host a Memorial Tribute in honor of the legendary Whitney Houston at 7 p.m. Houston died Feb. 11 during Grammy weekend at a Beverly Hills hotel.

Roland Criswell, president of the funeral home, said in a release, “We wanted to provide an outlet for the Pittsburgh community to celebrate Houston’s musical contributions to the world and pay tribute to her legacy.”

The tribute, which will also be streamed live on the funeral home’s website, will highlight Houston’s accomplishments and feature some of her greatest hits and videos. Guests will also be given an opportunity to speak of their favorite memories, stories and thoughts of Houston.
