The Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company presents The Ancestor Series at 8 p.m. at 542 Penn Ave., Cultural District. This is a trilogy of one act plays by Pittsburgh playwright P.J. Gibson. Each play is about a woman who is called to make a difficult decision and needs to call on her African ancestors for answers. The show will run through April 24.
