Spring job fair
MARCH 17—The Community College of Allegheny County will host a Spring Job Fair from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Boyce Campus Student Services Center, 2nd floor, 808 Ridge Ave., North Side. MARCH 18—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host their Business Program Series from 12:15-1 p.m. at the Downtown & Business branch, 612 Smithfield St. The topic is “The Ins and Outs of Schedule D.” Patrick N. Price, a tax specialist for the IRS, will explain the terms related to the 1099-B form, the basic rules and how to report asset sales. This event is free and open to the public.
