MARCH 11—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host their Business Program Series from 12:15-1 p.m. at the Downtown and Business branch, 612 Smithfield St. The topic is “Home Buying Based in 2010: What You Need to Know.” Diane Scabilloni of Victorian Finance and Tracy Janov of Prudential Preferred Reality, will lead the discussion on how to find and qualify for the best loan to fit one’s personal financial and lifestyle goals, how to work with a Realtor to create and identify one’s home “wish list” and tips for finding property with the highest potential for appreciation.
