Shoveling snow can make you crazy. I am here to tell you that after I shoveled out my driveway at 6:30 in the morning and came back home to find that the snowplow had pushed snow back into my driveway I was livid.
As I shoveled out the driveway for the third time, I could feel my blood pressure rise and the sweat pour off my brow. Who could I call, who could I cuss out?
If I had tried to call someone and then went into a rant I may have ended up “catching a case.” So I clearly understand the issue that recently happened in Sugartop (Hill District).

Cuisine...Boost kids' nutrition with sweet potato recipes they'll love
Category: Lifestyle
It may not be as hard as you think to get kids to eat more veggies. Sweet potatoes are naturally sweet and delicious, so you don’t have to disguise them and trick your kids into enjoying healthier foods.
Sweet potatoes, sometimes called yams, are loaded with nutrition:
•Sweet potatoes have more vitamin A than any other vegetable. Vitamin A is necessary for strong tissues and maintaining a healthy immune system.
•The sweet potato is a complex carbohydrate that contains more than one-third the recommended daily requirements of vitamin C.
•Potassium in sweet potatoes also helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in the body cells, as well as normal heart and nerve functions.

Taking Rodman to ‘The Street’
Category: Lifestyle
These are the inspirational words that not only embody the ministry of Rev. Dr. Darryl T. Canady, the new pastor of Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, but personify Pittsburgh’s newest religious leader. These words were the motivating factor that challenged a courageous young man entering the portals of the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta.
With the October 2008 retirement of Rev. Delano R. Paige, Rodman’s Pastoral Search Committee began the long task of seeking and interviewing candidates to fill the pulpit of their beloved pastor.
