Art and talent show for peace in Wilkinsburg

As part of its effort to end the violence on the streets, Wilkinsburg’s Sanctuary Project hosted an Art and Talent Show for Peace for the Wilkinsburg youth in grades 6-12, at the Wilkinsburg Senior High School auditorium.

Art work was on display and the top five talent acts for grades 6-9 and grades 10-12 performed. A candle light vigil on the streets outside the high school concluded the evening.
The Sanctuary Project is a collaboration among the Wilkinsburg Ministerial Association, Wilkinsburg Community Ministry, churches, social service agencies, the mayor and police chief to end youth violence.
