Vivica A. Fox talks about why she’s for Obama and her two new shows

It was Election Day, and actress Vivica A. Fox was encouraging all registered voters to be sure and vote. In an exclusive interview, she said one reason she was making the push for voting was because she’s a strong supporter of President Barack Obama.

“I feel like he inherited one of the worst economies than any President has ever, ever inherited. I have met Mr. Obama, President Obama. I supported him in his first campaign and I feel that he deserves four more years to finish up the job that he started.”

Fox is currently on two cable network television shows. She is the host of “Prank My Mom” on Lifetime Television.

“What we’re doing, we are pranking moms and we are putting their love to the test. Kind of having a laugh while we are doing it,” she said.

She’s also starring on the CW in the sitcom, “Mr. Box Office.” It’s produced by Byron Allen and also stars Bill Bellamy, Rick Fox, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Tim Meadows and Gary Busey.

“I play the sexy cougar teacher. Basically, Bill Bellamy is a Will Smith movie star who punches out paparazzi and in doing so he gets sentenced to community service, to come and teach at this school because he majored in education in college.”

When asked was she playing a character she had personal knowledge about (the sexy cougar part) Fox laughed and replied, “I might as well ride that until the wheels fall off. I really consider it a compliment. For me I usually play the kick butt strong business type. For me to play the teacher that’s oozing sex it’s, it’s okay for me, but it’s not really who I am. So, I’m really acting.”

Fox, who has been linked with younger men, including rapper 50 Cent and most recently party promoter Omar “Slim” White, is not dating anyone right now. This news came straight from the mouth of the beautiful star.

“At the moment I’m happily single. So, I’m single and mingling. Let’s put it that way,” she said.
