BCC Ministries hosts Circle of Courage Awards

On Sept. 1, individuals representing a cross-section of industries and ministries gathered for the Pittsburgh Circle of Courage Awards. The event was held at the Doubletree Hotel Monroeville.
The Pittsburgh Circle of Courage Awards is sponsored by BCC Ministries and is designed to be a source of encouragement to individuals who have displayed faith and courage in their careers, ministries and other aspects of life.

Pittsburgh Circle of Courage awardees were announced at the event. Proceeds will benefit the numerous ministries of BCC Ministries.
The organization is involved in and supports education, healthcare, distribution of food and clothing to the poor locally and across the globe.
The event included a silent auction by local artists and music by Lucy Scandrett, principal harpist for the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, and the Civic Light Opera Orchestra.

Education: Linda Lane, Nina Esposito-Visgitis and Charlene Newkirk. Diversity: Tamiko Stanley, and Chaz Kellem. Medicine/ Healthcare: Neal Bisno. Human Resources: Arnetta Kelly McCormick.
